4. Initial Positioning  

 

Ideally your room shape and size will be similar to one of the diagrams above. If not try to get an angle of 

between 60°-90° from your listening position, between 1ft (33cm) and 3ft (1 m) away from the wall. The 

closer to the wall the more bass will be reflected. Sitting at or near the centre of the room will reduce the 

bass you hear so careful positioning should enable you to obtain the bass balance desired.
