Connecting a transceiver to the RoIP Gateway
Multicast mode operation

Set the transceiver channel, volume level, TX output power, and other necessary settings, before
connecting to the RoIP Gateway.
NOTE:
Turn OFF both the RoIP Gateway and the transceiver before connecting the cable.

Connect the RoIP Gateway and the transceiver, using the appropriate optional cable.

Turn ON the transceiver and the RoIP Gateway.
NOTE:
•
Turn OFF both the radio and the RoIP Gateway when connecting or disconnecting the transceiver.
•Keep the radio away from a PC, a power adapter and other electronic equipment. The noise emitted from
those equipment may interfere with the radio.
•When operating the radio, do not transmit near the IP telephone.
