1.
Press the [FREQ/CH] button until two frequencies are shown, one above the other.
At this point they may or may not be the same frequency. The upper is the receive
Frequency and the lower is the transmit frequency. Press the [
TXF
/TX] button.

Note:
The
TX
in the middle left side of the [Function Display] will flash on and off.

Using the key pad, press [0]

The [Function Display] lower (smaller) number should now display
0
5.
Press and Hold the [ENT] button until the
TX
in the middle left side is removed.
6.
The channel is now programmed for no transmit frequency.
7.
Note in the upper part of the [Function Display] the
SIMP
and
DUP
Indications have
been removed.
