Receiving a Geographical Area Call

When a Geographical Area Call (for the area you are in) is
received:

Emergency alarm or beeps sound depending on the re-

ceived category.

Received Geographic

” appears on the display.

Push

[CLR] to stop the beeps and the backlight blinking,

then push

[DIAL•ENTER] to change to the channel speci-

fied by the calling station for voice communication; push
other key to ignore the call.
