IDAS operation
The IC-F3161D and IC-F4161D provdes Icom Dgtal Ad-
vanced System (IDAS) that meets the 6.25 kHz emsson
mask requrements for narrow bandng, and ncreases eff-
cency of channel allocaton and use of spectrum.
The optonal UT-119H/UT-126H provdes 6.25 kHz dgtal
mode operaton for the transcever that does not support dg-
tal communcaton.
NOTE:
Durng IDAS operaton, BIIS 1200, MDC 1200
system and LTR
®
operatons are not avalable.

IDAS-Trunk operation
The IDAS-Trunk system enables further effectve channel
management by sharng a mnmum of channels wth a large
number of users.

the IDAS-Trunk zone.
* The method to select the desred zone may dffer accordng to your
system set up.
NOTE:
Durng IDAS-Trunk operaton, you can receve and
transmt dgtal calls n the same way wth the followng
IDAS operaton.
