Printer connection
When the optonal cable s connected to the transcever, a
prnter can be connected to prnt out the receved SDM con-
tent and the ID of the staton who sent the message.
Ask your dealer or system operator for connecton detals.

BIIS ANI
The own ID can be transmtted each tme the PTT s pushed
(log-n) or released (log-off) durng ndvdual or group call
communcatons.
By recevng the ANI, the communcaton log can be re-
corded when usng a PC dspatch applcaton.
In addton, when usng the ANI wth log-n, the PTT sde
tone functon can be used to nform you that the ID s sent
and voce communcaton can be performed.

Transmitting an Emergency call
When
[Emergency]
(descrbed n the nstructon manual) s
pushed and held for the specfied tme perod, the emergency
sgnal (Status 22) s transmtted once or repeatedly on the
emergency channel. A repeat emergency sgnal s automat-
cally transmtted untl t receves the acknowledgement sgnal.
When no emergency channel s specfied, the sgnal s trans-
mtted on the prevously selected channel.
If you want to cancel the emergency call, push and hold the
key agan before transmttng the call.
The emergency call can be transmtted wthout a beep ems-
son, and the LCD ndcaton dependng on the pre-settng.
The transcever can also be programmed to keep the mcro-
phone open durng an emergency call, allowng montorng of
the stuaton.
IMPORTANT:
It s recommended to set an emergency
channel ndvdually to provde the certan emergency call
operaton.
