BASIC OPERATION

Find scan operation
Ths transcever can detect the CTCSS tone and DTCS code* n
the receved sgnal. By montorng a sgnal that s beng transmtted
from the other staton, you can determne the tone frequency or
DTCS code* requred to communcate wth them.
Ths functon s very useful when you are gong to communcate
wth unknown CTCSS tone or DTCS code* statons.
Scans all of the CTCSS tone and DTCS code*, then stops when a
matched tone or code* s detected.

Turn power OFF n advance.

Whle pushng and holdng
[Upper]
and
[Lower]
, rotate
[VOL]
to turn power ON.
Do not select
channel 16
before turnng power ON.

Rotate
[CH selector]
to select the desred channel (1 to 15) that
you want to assgn the CTCSS tone or DTCS code* to.

Push and hold
[Upper]
for 1 sec. to start scan.
• The LED ndcator blnks green slowly.
• Push
[Upper]
to stop the scan.

The scan pauses when the matched tone or code* s detected.
• Push
[Upper]
to determne the detected tone or code* number,
and stop the scan.
• Scan resumes 3 sec. after the sgnal dsappears.
