For Heat Pumps With Gas/Oil Backup
When the ambient temperature is below the selected temperature, the heat
pump will be locked out and only the furnace will operate .
For Heat Pumps With Electric Backup
When the ambient temperature is above the selected temperature, the heat
pump will operate and electric backup will be locked out .
