Camera Mode Selections
Low Resolution
Press the MODE BUTTON six times to
enter low resolution mode. In this mode,
the camera can take 104 pictures in “Ld”
format, without compression or 208
images in “Hd” format, with
compression--Fig. 16. Although the
camera can take over 99 photos in this
resolution, the STATUS LCD will only
allow for a 2-digit display. It will keep
showing “99” even though pictures have
been taken and stored in the camera.
50: Lighting AC power frequency
Press the MODE BUTTON eight times
until “50” appears on the STATUS LCD
and then press the SHUTTER RELEASE
BUTTON to enter this mode. This mode
can eliminate the potential image noise
caused by an external lighting
source—Fig. 17.
60: Lighting AC power frequency
Press the MODE BUTTON eight times
until “50” appears on the STATUS LCD
and then press the SHUTTER RELEASE
BUTTON. Scroll through the mode
options again and “60” should appear.
This mode can eliminate the potential
image noise caused by external lighting
source—Fig. 18.

select the correct frequency.
