HOW TO USE THE RESET/WASH BUTTON

6-8 sec. when the machine is not in alarm
mode, nothing will happen..
c1. Pressing and holding the button for more
than 6-8 sec when the machine is not in
alarm mode (in effect, when freezing, or
when the storage bin is full and freezing is
prevented), the machine sets itself for the
wash/rinse program by switching to a
stand-by configuration: from this moment
until the program is completed, the yellow
led will continue to blink (slowly at first,
about one beat per second) and all
functions are inhibited.
c2. Pressing the button n. 6
again acti-
vates the pump only (during “wash” the
led blinks steadily but more quickly, at
about three beats per second).
After 30 minutes, the machine automati-
cally goes into “rinse”;
The rinse can be started at any time
during the wash part of the program by
pressing the button momentarily.
c3. The rinse stage (during which the steady
blink of the yellow led becomes inter-
mittent) consists of the following opera-
tions:
– activation of drain solenoid valve and
pump for 30 sec. approx.
– deactivation of drain valve and pump.
– pause 1 minute
– activation of pump for 3 min.
– above sequence repeated another
seven times
– activation of drain valve for about 1 min.
N.B.: The pump operates continuously the
rinse stage. Rinse cycles cannot be
interrupted.
c4. At the end of the rinse stage, the machine
reverts automatically to the stand-by
configuration of c1).
d.
To quit the program, press n. 6
and
hold the button for at least 6-8 sec.
while the machine is in the stand-by
configuration (c1): the yellow led stops
blinking and the machine reverts to normal
operation.
IMPORTANT
To start making ice, wait until the machine has
finished the rinse program and is on stand-by:
– Machine idle, yellow led blinking.
To start the cycle, press and hold the
reset/wash button n. 6
