4.2
Generator Connections
The generator comes supplied with all supply lines (i.e. electric cables,
fuel lines etc.) already connected to the motor and generator. The supply
lines are fed through the capsule's front base panel and are shielded at
the capsule inlets with water-proof grommets. The connections are
marked as shown on the diagram below.
All electrical connections, cable types and sizes must comply
to the appropriate national regulations,this is also the case for
used cable material. The supplied cables are rated for ambient
temperatures up to 70°C (160°F). If the cables are required to
meet higher temperature requirements, they must be run
through conduits.
ATTENTION! Before working (installation) on the System read
the section "Safety Instructions" in this Manual.
4.2
Anschlüsse am Generator
Innerhalb der Kapsel sind am Motor und auch am Generator alle
elektrischen Zuleitungen außer den Starterbatteriekabeln fest ange-
schlossen. Alle Leitungen sind in ausreichenden Längen aus der Kapsel
zugentlastet herausgeführt. Alle Durchführungen sind gekennzeichnet,
dies gilt auch für die Durchführungen für Kraftstoff- und Kühlwasser-
leitungen.
Die elektrischen Anschlüsse müssen unbedingt nach den
jeweils gültigen nationalen Vorschriften verlegt und ausge-
führt werden. Dies gilt auch für die verwendeten Kabelmateria-
lien. Für die mitgelieferten Kabel ist nur eine "geschützte"
Verlegung (z.B. im Rohr) zugelassen bei einer Temperatur bis
max. 70°C (160°F). Das Netz muß ebenfalls mit allen erforderli-
chen Sicherungen und Kabelquerschnitten ausgestattet wer-
den.
ACHTUNG! Vor der Installation bzw. Bearbeitung unbedingt
das Kapitel "Sicherheitshinweise" in diesem Handbuch
lesen.
