Turn the inboard pad adjustment in until it is
firmly squeezing the rotor against the outboard
pad. – this immobilizes the actuating arm. Your
caliper is now in perfect alignment and is ready
to be tightened.
Tighten the 2 caliper positioning bolts (CPS) that
attach the caliper to the mounting bracket.
Tighten one then the other, repeating until they
are at the specified torque.
Turn both pad adjustment knobs
counterclockwise about 2 or 3 click to give
sufficient clearance between the pads and the
rotor. Use the pad adjustment knobs whenever
you need to adjust your brakes (the adjustment
at the brake lever is only for removing cable
slack.
