STORAGE GUIDE
Extended storage, such as for winter, requires that
you take certain steps to reduce the affects of
deterioration from non-use of the motorcycle. In
addition necessary repairs should be made before
storing the motorcycle; otherwise these repairs may
be forgotten by the time the motorcycle is removed
from storage.
STORAGE
1: change engine oil.
2: drain the fuel tank and carburetor into a petrol
container. Spray the inside of the fuel tank with
aerosol rest-inhibiting oil. Reinstall the fuel filling
cap.
CAUTION:
If storage will last more than half month,
carburetor draining is very important to assure
proper performance after storage.
WARNING!
Petrol is extremely flammable and is explosive
under certain condition. Refuel in a well-ventilated
area with the engine stopped. Do not smoke or allow
flames or sparks in the area where the engine is
refueled or where petrol is stored.
3: perform the following antirust procedures in
cylinder inside:
Remove the spark plug cover, fix it to near plastic
parts with rubberize fabric or cord, let it separated
from the spark plug.
Poor a tablespoon (15-20cc) of clean engine oil into
the cylinder, then cover the spark plug hole with a
