IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
1. Check that the voltage on your appliance is
the same as the mains electricity before
plugging it in.
2. This appliance may be used by children

knowledge, provided that they are supervised
or are given instructions on how to use the
appliance safely and understand the hazards
involved. Children must not play with this
appliance. Children cannot clean or carry out
maintenance unless they are older than 8 and
are supervised by an adult. Keep the appliance
and its power cord out of the reach of children
under 8 years old.
3. Do not use the appliance if the power cord
or the plug is damaged, if the appliance is not
working properly or if the appliance has been
damaged in any way. The appliance does not
contain any parts that can be repaired by
the user.
4. If you use the appliance incorrectly, you
may harm yourself or damage the appliance.
5. Always unplug the kettle from the wall
socket when it is not in use, when you remove
or add accessories, and before cleaning it.
6. Do not immerse the appliance’s casing in
water or any other liquid and do not let any
water come into contact with the electrical
connections or contacts. This may cause a fire

WARNING: Do not touch the body of the kettle during or after use as
it gets very hot. Use the handle.
WARNING: Position the lid so that steam is directed away from the
handle.
WARING: Do not remove the lid while the water is boiling.
WARNING: Do not fill the kettle beyond the ‘MAX’ level. If you
overfill the kettle, there is a risk that boiling water will be ejected
from the spout.
