5. Cleaning / Disinfecting 33
CAREFUL! When using the keyboard with a USB cable, it should be
ensured that no moisture or cleaning or disinfectant agent can penet-
rate into the USB socket of the keyboard! Moisture and/or aggressive
cleaning agents can damage the sensitive electronics.
Do no use any abrasive agents / abrasive sponges; these can scratch
the keyboard.
Ensure that no drops of the cleaning agent are left on the keyboard,
particularly where the glass and the body of the keyboard meet.
No cleaning agent may penetrate the interior of the keyboard!
Although the plastic is resistant to almost every cleaning agent, the
housing shell should only be treated with a much cleaner as neces-
sary.
CAREFUL! Excessive use of cleaning agents can result in discolou-
ring of the plastic.
