3 Safety instructions
Please read the instructions in this manual carefully, before you link and use the device. Please keep this
user manual nearby for anytime reference.
The Internet radio is intended for use over a range of ambient temperatures from 0°C to +40°C. During
transport or storage temperatures from -20°C to +70°C are permissible. Do not operate the unit in a damp
or dusty area nor expose it to rain or to an environment, where it may be splashed by water or other
liquids. Please allow the unit sufficient time for acclimatisation to room temperature (minimum 30 minutes)
before powering up, if you bring it from a cold into a warm environment. Do not place the product where it
will be in the path of direct sunlight or near a heater. Check your local mains voltage before connecting the
Unit. This device is normally set up for an AC line voltage of 230 volts, 50 to 60 Hz. The unit may only be
operated at a power receptacle with protective earth conductor.
The wires of the mains power cord have the following colours:
GREEN and YELLOW:
PE (Protective Earth)
BLUE:
N (Neutral)
BROWN:
L (Live)
As the colours of the wires in the mains lead of this apparatus may not correspond with the coloured
markings identifying the terminals in your plug, proceed as follows:
The wire, which is coloured green and yellow, must be connected to the terminal which is marked by the
letter PE or by the safety earth symbol or coloured green and yellow. The wire, which is coloured blue,
must be connected to the terminal which is marked with the letter N or coloured black. The wire which is
coloured brown must be connected to the terminal which is marked with the letter L or coloured red. The
fuse protection in the house distribution may not exceed 16 Amperes.
Warning! The protective earth conductor must never be interrupted even for test purposes! This
may be dangerous to life!
