24 Volt Sockets (Exhaust Fans and Cameras)
Exhaust fans and Cameras are connected to the 24v sockets on the DC Supplemental Master. Components may be attached to any of the three sockets
on each side. The 24v sockets are all keyed the same way with the same voltage; thus, they are interchangeable.
28 Volt and 5 Volt Sockets (Modules)
The 28v and 5v power sockets are combined into one outlet for the ImageTrac. These sockets are found on the DC Distribution Board. Modules connect
power cables from here to the P29 socket on the transport interface board for each module. Cables for the 28v and 5v connections are clipped to the
scanner frames, leading the ends to the most convenient pair of sockets, but the 28v and 5v sockets are all keyed the same way with the same voltage.
Please refer to the chart on pages 17 and 18 for the location of each power cable per module.
Modules on 4 frame scanners will have a separate DC Distribution Board. The charts list where those are connected.
Emergency Stops and Operator Switch
Emergency stop switches and the operator switch are connected on the left side of the DC Supplemental Master.
Important: Unlike the fan, module, and camera sockets, the sockets for emergency stops and operator switches are not interchangeable.
The operator switch (On/Off) connects to the 2 pin connector on the Primary AC Box. The Estop 1
connects to J6 on the DC secondary Master and the Estop 2 Switch connects to J5 on the DC
Secondary Master. The Estop Signal from J7 on the DC Secondary Master goes to the registration
150-00141 board, connector P4.
