Removing
an
SFP
module
Complete
the
following
steps
to
remove
an
SFP
module
from
a
host
connector.
Attention:
To
avoid
damage
to
the
cable
or
the
SFP
module,
make
sure
that
you
disconnect
the
LC-LC
fiber-optic
cable
before
you
remove
the
SFP
module.
1.
Read
the
information
in
“Handling

on

Remove
the
LC-LC
fiber-optic
cable
from
the
SFP
module.

3.
Remove
the
SFP
module:

For
an
SFP
module
with
a
plastic
tab:
a.
Unlock
the
SFP
module
by
pulling
the
plastic
tab
downward
10°
(see
Figure
19).

Pull
the
SFP
module
out
of
the
connector.

an

has
a
wire
tab:

Unlock
the
SFP
module
by
pulling
the
wire
tab
downward
90°
