Certification number
Basically the certification number of Industry Canada for each approved
Mini-PCI wireless module is affixed on each adapter installed in the Mini-PCI
Card slot as shown below.

bottom side of your ThinkPad computer, because users can not easily access
to the certification labels of each transmitter module listed below.

Attention for the BIOS Lock Protection:
You can install or remove each wireless feature by yourself. However, if you
install an unauthorized wireless adapter that is not approved to use for the
ThinkPad R40 Series computer, the computer does not start, but only displays
an error message and emits beeps.
