Installing a power supply

Complete the following steps to install a power supply.

1.

Remove any filler panels that were temporarily installed.

2.

Insert the power supply into the slot. Verify that the power supply is seated by
gently pulling on the handle. The power supply should resist movement as you
pull.

3.

Tighten the thumbscrew.

4.

Connect the power cord.

5.

Move the power supply switch to the on position.

6.

Verify that the power LED on the power supply displays a steady green light.

Removing and installing a blower assembly

This procedure provides instructions for removing and installing a blower
assembly.

Attention:

The system can continue operating during the replacement if the

second blower assembly is operating, To ensure continuous adequate cooling,
maintain both blower assemblies except for the brief period during replacement.

Time and items required

The installation procedure for each blower assembly takes less than 5 minutes. The
following items are required for the blower assembly installation:
