Controls and indicators
AC power light:
This green light provides status information about the power
supply. During normal operation, both the AC and DC power lights are on. For
information about any other combination of lights, refer to the User’s Reference on the
IBM Netfinity Documentation CD. See the illustration in “Installing a hot-swap power
supply” on page 12 for the location of this LED.
Operator information panel:
The lights on this panel give status information for
your server. See “Operator information panel” on page 20 for more information.
DC power light:
This green light provides status information about the power
supply. During normal operation, both the AC and DC power lights are on. For
information about any other combination of lights, refer to the User’s Reference on the
IBM Netfinity Documentation CD. See the illustration in “Installing a hot-swap power
supply” on page 12 for the location of this LED.
Hard disk drive status light:
Each of the hot-swap drive bays has a hard disk drive
status light. When this amber light is on continuously, the drive has failed.
If a ServeRAID adapter is installed and this light flashes slowly (one flash per second),
the drive is being rebuilt. When the light flashes rapidly (three flashes per second), the
controller is identifying the drive.
Hard disk drive activity light:
Each of the hot-swap drive bays has a hard disk drive
activity light. When this green light is flashing, there is activity on that hard-disk
drive.
