Chapter 3. Installing support rails for the IBM FlashSystem
9150 enclosure
Before you install the enclosure, you must first install the support rails for it.
Procedure
To install the support rails for the control enclosure, complete the following steps.
1. Locate the control enclosure rails. The rail assembly consists of two rails that
must be installed in the rack cabinet.
2. Working at the front of the rack cabinet, identify the two standard rack units
(2U) of space in the rack into which you want to install the support rails.
After removing the two AC2 enclosures, you will install the FlashSystem 9150
enclosure in the 2U space beneath the building block's AE2 storage enclosure,
as shown in the following figure.
