17. Reinsert the power supply and fan units and reconnect the power supply
cords.

Power on the DR550 Expansion Drawer.
19. Wait at least 3 minutes and then power on the DR550 Storage Controller.
Verify the status of the configuration using LEDs and the DS4000 Storage
Manager client program.
Replacing an EV-DDM
Complete the following steps to replace the hot-swap EV-DDMs that you removed
before the installation.
Attention:
After you remove an EV-DDM CRU, wait 70 seconds before replacing
or reseating it to allow it to properly spin down. Failure to do so may cause
undesired events.
1. Lift up on the handle and gently push the EV-DDM CRU into the empty bay
until the hinge of the tray handle latches beneath the storage expansion
enclosure bezel, as show in Figure 46.
2.
Push the tray handle down until the latch clicks into place.
3. Repeat step 1 on page 120 and step 2 on page 120 to replace additional
EV-DDMs.
