The IBM 7212 Model 102

Enclosure adds the 200/400 GB
Half-High LTO Ultrium 2 Tape Drive
feature that is:

Designed to provide physical
storage capacity of 200 GB
(400 GB with 2:1 compression)
per Ultrium 2 data cartridge and
sustained data rate of up to
24 MB per second, 48 MB per
second at 2:1 compression
•
Read and write compatible with
Ultrium 1 100 GB data cartridge
at up to 16 MB per second,
200 GB physical capacity at up to
32 MB per second, with 2:1
compression
•
Supported by most models of the
IBM
pSeries
and IBM
iSeries
families of
servers
Additionally, the iSeries and i5
servers also support the following,
previously announced, 7212
Model 102 features: VXA-2 Tape
Drive, DAT72 Tape Drive, SLR60
Tape Drive, SLR100 Tape Drive,
DVD-ROM Drive, and DVD-RAM 2
Drive.
