 Section 1. Introduction

The 3270 PCI Card is a hardware component that, with the
appropriate software, provides 3278/79 emulation capabilities for
personal computers with PCI busses.

The 3270 PCI Card can be installed in personal computers with a
PCI bus.

In this book, unless otherwise stated, Intel 8088 bus refers to the 8088, 8086, and
80286 buses.
