Handling precautions
Use the following precautions when handling the Microdrive:
v
Transport the Microdrive storage card only in the plastic case that
comes with the option package.
v
Do not drop the Microdrive storage card.
v
Do not get the Microdrive storage card wet.
v
Do not place the Microdrive storage card near a strong magnetic
field.
v
Do not expose the Microdrive storage card to extreme temperatures.
v
If you are using Windows CE, do not insert the Microdrive storage
card into a CF+ Type II slot that does not have an ejection
mechanism.
v
Do not squeeze the external covers of the Microdrive storage card.
v
Do not apply additional labels to the Microdrive storage card.
v
Do not remove the Microdrive label storage card.
v
Only write on the small area of white space on the 1GB Microdrive
storage card label that is designated as a writable area. Do not write
on any other part of the storage card label.
v
Use care whenever you remove the Microdrive storage card from the
computer; the Microdrive storage card might be warm after
operation.
