To fit the blade, depress the lever on the tool holder to loosen the
holder.
The blade’s cutting edge should be facing forward.
Insert the blade’s mounting portion into the groove in the blade
holder until it touches the bottom of the holder.
Ensure the blade is located and runs smoothly in the groove as
well as through the roller guide.
The finger protection located in front of the blade holder will
help prevent accidental contact with the moving blade
The base (9) plate must always be held firmly against the materials
being cut to reduce saw vibration, blade jumping or blade breakage.
Adjusting the angle of the base plate (between 0 and 45º) with
the provided allen key enables bevel cutting.
Loosen the bolts securing the base plate using the allen key. Tilt
the base allowing for bevel cuts between 0 and 45 º.
Hold the base plate in position and firmly tighten the bolts to
clamp the base plate at that angle. Check the accuracy of the
angle with a protractor and ensure the plate is firmly clamped.
