WARNING!
Hold the tool firmly with one hand on the knob or
motor housing and the other hand on the switch handle when
performing the tool.
Refer the specific instructions on page no. 5 & 6.
Secure the work piece to a stable platform. Make sure the area
planing in is stable and does not move during the process.
Hold the tool with both hands
using both grips. This ensures
optimum control over it.
Push the planer beyond edge of
the work piece without tilting it
downwards.
Turn off the planer and wait
for the blade to stop before
setting the planer down.
Switch the planer ON and wait for the blades to reach full speed.
Make sure the blades reached full speed before you start planing.
IBL EP82-58
Hold the planer firmly with both hands. Rest the front shoe flat
on the work piece surface, ensuring that the blades do not make
contact with the work.
Move the planer gently forward along the grain of the wood.
Apply pressure on the front of the planer at the beginning of the
stroke and at the rear towards the end of the stroke.
Guide the planer at a constant speed across the material to be
worked on. Do not guide the planer across the surface to be
planed too fast. Allow it enough time to plane the surface.
The feed rate and the depth of cutting determines the quality
of the finish.
Reduce the depth of the cut to achieve a smoother
finish. For a rough cutting, the depth of cut should be increased
as well.
