CHECKING THE DHW FLOW
You can check the DHW fl
ow detected by the water heater (read in US gallons
per minute or in liters per minute). See ACCESSING THE INFORMATION MENU
on pages 1-10 to 1-11.
ADJUSTING THE DHW MODES
Note
: These modes apply only to the SFC series of boilers.
When in standby, the unit has three DHW modes related to the heat exchanger
temperature:
Standard Mode (OFF): The unit will respond to a call for DHW as a priority over
the space heating demand. When the DHW demand is satisfied the unit will
return to the space heating load if the load is still calling. The water heater’s
heat exchanger will not maintain its DHW temperature between demands for hot
water.
Comfort Mode (ON): The water heater’s heat exchanger is maintained at the
DHW temperature.
ECO Comfort Mode (ECO): This mode operates like the Comfort Mode but has
the added advantage of learning when the DHW is used. During low-use periods,
the heat exchanger is allowed to cool.
To switch between the three modes:
1. From the Main Menu, touch the Faucet button twice.
The DHW mode is displayed on the left side of the panel.
