BIOS Setting
Description
XHCI Hand-pff
This is a workaround for OSes without XHCI
hand-off support. The XHCI ownership change
should be claimed by XHCI driver.
USB Mass Storage Driver
Support
Enables / Disables USB mass storage driver
support.
USB Transfer time-out
Sets the time-out value 1, 5, 10 or 20 sec(s) for
Control, Bulk, and Interrupt transfers.
Device reset time-out
Sets the seconds (10, 20, 30, 40 secs) of
delaying execution of start unit command to
USB mass storage device.
Device power-up delay
The maximum time the device will take before it
properly reports itself to the Host Controller.
Auto uses default value. For a Root port, it is
100 ms. For a Hub port, the delay is taken from
Hub descriptor.

Mass storage device emulation type.
Auto enumerates devices according to their
media format.
Optical drivers are emulated as “CD-ROM”,
drives with no media will be emulated
according to a drive type.
