3.2 Selecting a mode of operation

Once logged in, you will see this screen:

First, choose the mode of operation in the grey bar above:

LAN mode

is the default setting for HMP-505S. Keep the device set to this mode for all management

operations except when using Central Management Adfotain MZ Server

WAN mode

is ONLY for large network usage with Adfotain Central Management MZ Server (optional)

A reboot is required following each device mode change.
