In the Camera preview window, use your mouse cursor to select the area on the screen to be used for Motion Detection. 
Only the areas on the screen covered by red squares are currently selected. Draw the area on the screen using your mouse cursor. 
When the desired area has been successfully highlighted, right-click and select 

SAVE & EXIT
