Grill function
• Place the tray for collecting extra grease below the outlet. During the grilling
the fat from the grill runs to the grease outlet. Set the thermostat to the desired
temperature.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
• Remove the plug from the wall outlet and allow the device to cool both halves
open.
• Clean the appliance with a damp cloth. Never use harsh and abrasive clea-
ners, scouring pad or steel wool, which damages the device.
• Remove and empty the fat collecting tray after each use and wash the tray
in warm, soapy water.
• Unlock the grill plates by sliding the grill plate latch and take out the grill pla-
tes, the grill plates can be cleaned in water or dishwasher.
• Plug in the socket, the indication light will light up. Swich the temperature con-
trol clockwise to max position. When heated up you will be able to start grilling.
• Now place the prepared ingredients on the bottom grill plate and close the
grill by pressing the handle downwards. The upper plate tilts in order to provide
even pressure. Normal preparation time is 5-8 minutes; the exact time de-
pends on the dish, the set temperature and your personal taste. Because the
device is closed the baking process is faster.
Panini function
Set the thermostat to the desired temperature.
• Plug in the socket, the red indication light will light up. Swith the temperature
control clockwise to max position. When heated up you will be able to start
grilling.
• Now place the prepared ingredients on the bottom grill plate and close the
grill by pressing the handle downwards. The upper plate tilts in order to provide
even pressure. Normal preparation time is 4 minutes; the exact time depends
on the dish, the set temperature and your personal taste. Because the device
is closed the baking process is faster.
Open to 180 °, an open grill
• The device can also be used as an open flat grill for grilling meat, fish and
vegetable dishes.
• Just press the switch to the side of the handle and flip the lid back.
