Introduction

The i-gum

®

is an easy and safe machine to use, this manual helps you get started and explains the

operation and maintenance procedure. You will be surprised how fast and effective the i-gum

®

is,

only a few seconds per gum patch are needed. The actual time depends on the age of the chewing
gum patch, the surface as well as the ambient temperature.

The i-gum

®

G is the gas-operated version. The butane propane mix gas cartridges used in the i-gum

®

G are fitted with a standard type EN 417 threaded, self-sealing safety valve. Please refer to the
instructions on the bottle for correct procedure. The built-in battery operates amongst other things
the gas ignition and the operation display. An included battery charger charges the battery. Please
refer to the instructions at the charger and this manual for correct procedure.

This manual is intended for those who work with the i-gum

®

and perform daily maintenance. The

manual must be read in full before the first actions. This manual describes the correct method of use,
safety measures, maintenance and transport. And finally, the manual contains information about the
consumables:

the gum remover solution,

•

the brushes.

Intended use of the product

The i-gum

®

is a specialized machine for chewing gum removal on floor surfaces only. You can use the

i- gum

®

as a trolley or carry the lightweight main body as a backpack, using the harness (see Figure 1).
