Introduction and Features
The i-Star weather station combines a full range of weather measurements and
weather forecasting with a digital alarm clock with snooze function.
The main display unit is supplied with a wireless remote sensor which can
transmit temperature and humidity readings from an outdoor location or else-
where in the home from up to 100m away (in an open area). The main unit can
also receive and display readings from a further two sensors not supplied. Both
the sensor and main unit can be freestanding or wall mounted.
Powering, positioning and mounting the units
The
MAIN UNIT
can be powered either by connection to a powered USB socket
using the cable provided

or insert 3 AAA batteries (not supplied) into the
battery compartment

. Try to position the main unit and sensor so that there
are as few solid walls/obstacles as possible between them.
Position out of direct sunlight.
Position 1.5-2m away from
possible sources of interference
such as TV or monitor screens.
Don’t place the main unit close
to metal window frames.
You can hang the main unit
from a hook or screw using
the keyhole slot on the
back of the unit
