Cleaning the outlet air filter
The outlet air filter cleans the air a final time before it leaves the vacuum cleaner.
You can clean the outlet air filter as follows:
1. Switch off the vacuum cleaner and
disconnect the plug from the mains.
To do this always pull on the plug and
not on the cable.
2. Open the exhaust air grill Fig. 5 (this
is at the top of the vacuum cleaner.)
3. The air filter is visible when the grill
has been opened, remove it, Fig.6.
4. Rinse the filter under cold running
water and allow dry.
5. Put the outlet air filter back into place
(or replace with a new one) and place
in the grill.
6. Close the outlet air filter grill.

IMPORTANT: PLEASE NOTE:
The Rinseable “Tap Clean” HEPA Dust Cup Filter will stop most of the tiniest dust particles and
airborne allergens from re-entering the air you breathe. In fact it stops 99.97% of all particles as
small as 0.3 microns-many times smaller thana human hair! Because of this incredible filtration
performance, the HEPA Dust Cup Filter will quickly accumulate may fine dust particles inside
the white filter folds that are difficult to see but which will eventually block or reduce your suc
-
tion power, if not cleaned properly. We recommend washing it once a month or when suction
appears reduced.
The HEPA filter operating lifetime corresponds to about 10 to 15 washing cycles. After that, the
filter looses its performance and it should be replaced.
