NEAR FIELD COMMUNICATION (NFC)
DRIVE MODE
To lock/unlock your vehicle using the NFC key card, hold the key card
up to the center of the door handle

If you try to lock your vehicle with the NFC card under the following
conditions, it will not work:
• The Smart Key is in the vehicle.
• The POWER button is in ACC or ON position.
• Any of the doors, hood and trunk are open.

NOTE:
If you overlap and use the key card with other NFC-enabled
cards such as a transportation card or credit card, it will not work.
*For security reasons, the vehicle can only have one NFC key card
paired to it at one time. Any time that a new Key card is paired to the car
it will disable the previously paired Key Card .
Level
Description
NORMAL
Ordinary driving mode.
ECO
Drive mode for fuel efficiency. This mode results
in driving at a constant speed without rapid
acceleration or deceleration.
SPORT
Drive mode for sporty and dynamic driving. This
mode reacts sensitively when you press down on the
pedal or rotate the steering wheel. The fuel efficiency
may decrease.
SNOW
Drive mode for driving on icy or rainy roads which are
slippery. This mode helps with stable acceleration
and reduces tire slipping.
You can set the proper drive mode according to the road conditions
or your driving habits.
Press the DRIVE MODE button on
the steering wheel.
• Pressing the button repeatedly
changes the drive mode, and
the changed mode is displayed
on the instrument cluster.
To change to snow mode, press
and hold the button.
