USING AC POWER
Check if the power voltage, as shown on the type plate located on the rear of the set, corre -
sponds to your local AC power supply. If it does not, consult your dealer or service centre.
Connect the power cord to the AC MAINS inlet Wall outlet. The power supply is now con -
nected And ready for use.
To switch off completely, unplug the power cord from the wall outlet.
Unplug the power cord from the wall outlet to protect your set during heavy thunderstorms.
BASIC OPERATION
To avoid unnecessary energy consumption always slide the FUNCTION selector to OFF.
To select your sound source, slide the FUNCTION selector to CD, TAPE(OFF) or RADIO.
Adjust the sound with VOLUME.
To switch off the power, set the FUNCTION selector to TAPE(OFF) position.
RADIO RECEPTION
Slide the selector to RADIO.
Slide the Function selector to a desired band (FM or AM)
Rotate the TUNING TUNING TUNING TUNING TUNING TUNING control to find the desired
stations.
If the BAND station with stereo broadcast is received, the ST. indicator will light up.
When you have finished listening, slide the FUNCTION selector to the OFF position.
For FM, antenna cord locate in at the rear of the unit. Please fully unwound and extended its
full length for best reception.
For AM, the receiver has a built-in AM ferrite antenna. If the AM reception is weak, rotate or
reposition the unit. This is usually improves the AM reception.
PLAYING A CASSETTE
Slide the Funtion Selector to TAPE.
Press

/ STOP/EJECT to open the cassette door.
Insert a cassette and close the cassette door.
Press

PLAY to start playback.
To interrupt playback, press

PAUSE. To resume, press
;
PAUSE again.
