Make sure that all shields and guards are in place and are in good condition prior to operating
the machine. Check cutting wheel for damage or missing teeth and replace as necessary.

Ensure that everyone in the vicinity is aware of the danger zone associated with this machine
(within 6m / 20’). You must avoid the danger zone at all times when the machine is in
operation.

Make sure that no-one is working underneath or close to the machine before starting the
engine or beginning to move the machine. Make sure that the area is free of personnel.

Don’t make any alterations or modifications to your stump grinder.

Check that there are no buried pipes or electrical cables in the area you intend to operate the
