Digital tuner operations
Note:
RDS (Radio Data System) service availability varies with areas. Please understand if RDS service is not
available in your area, the following service is not available, either.
Band selection
Press BAND/A-B button on the RC or BAND button on the panel to select a band: FM1, FM2, FM3, MW1
(AM1), MW2 (AM2). Display will show the wave band and frequency.
Automatic/ Manual tuning
Automatic tuning:
Press

buttons to start auto searching the station.
Manual tuning:
Press and hold for 3 seconds
/
buttons, press repeatedly
/
buttons to start manual
searching the station. When
button is pressed, the station is sought in the direction of higher frequencies. If
button is pressed, the station is sought in the direction of lower frequencies.
Manual store
You can store up to a total of 30 radio stations in the memory (18 FM, 12 MW (AM)), manually or
automatically.
To store a station manually:
- Select a band (if needed)
- Select a station by
/
.
- Press and hold for 2 seconds a number button (1-6), under which you want to store the station.
To store a station automatically:
- Select a band (if needed)
- Press and hold AMS button on the unit or AMS/PROG button on the RC for 2 seconds. The stations
with good reception are stored automatically.
