button. Press and hold to turn the tester on or off.

Keypad direction keys. Press to scroll through menus, results, and settings.

ALT
Press to change the data entry mode to numbers/symbols, upper case letters, or lower case
letters. The indicator on the upper right of the screen shows which mode is currently active:

– Lower case letters
If the ALT key won’t toggle and the indicator stays in # mode, it means only numbers can be
entered on that screen.

Back
(or Escape) key. Press to exit menus and result screens (without saving any
changes). Press twice to show the internal battery level of the tester.

Battery Clamps
Connect these clamps to the battery terminals. The red clamp connects to the positive (+)
terminal and the black clamp to the negative (-) terminal.

Calibration Shunt
Use to calibrate the tester when it requests calibration.
