Install
1.
Position glow plug relay on mounting bracket
and install nuts. See Figure 28.
2.
Connect wiring harness connectors to terminals
B and M. Install nuts and washers. See Fig-
ure 26 and Figure 27.
3.
Install protective boots over terminals B and M.
See Figure 27.
4.
Connect electrical connectors at terminals E
and S. See Figure 26.
5.
Connect battery and close hood.
Power Distribution Module (PDM) and Component Parts
POWER DISTRIBUTION MODULE (PDM)
AS A UNIT
Remove
NOTE:
The PDM as a unit, is not a serviceable
part. The component parts of the PDM (relays,
fuses, and resistors), can be replaced without re-
placing the PDM. If the PDM malfunctions, replace
with a new PDM. See Parts Manual for replace-
ment part number.
1.
Raise steering column to its highest position,
move seat all the way forward, and raise hood
for access to PDM and battery. Disconnect the
battery.
NOTE:
Tag electrical connector prior to disconnect
to aid in correct reconnect.
2.
Disconnect chassis harness from main power
connection terminals on PDM. See Figure 29.
3.
Remove bolts and PDM from battery tray. See
Figure 29.
