BASIC BETAFLIGHT SETTINGS
The following sections describe suggested initial board
configurations to ensure that your Riot Control FC operates as
expected and all the recommended features are enabled. This
guide is not all inclusive, as there are many options that can be
set in the configurator according to personal preference. However,
these suggested settings should offer a good starting point for the
majority of pilots.
ENABLING SOFTSERIAL FOR FRSKY TELEMETRY
To enable FrSky Telemetry, you will need to enable SoftSerial on
UART 1.
To do this, go to the CLI Tab in the BetaFlight Configurator
Application and enter the following commands. Press the Enter key
after typing each line:
• feature SOFTSERIAL
• resource SERIAL_TX 11 A09
• save
