The ON/OFF power
switch is set to ON (I),
but the power ON LED is
not illuminated.
There is insufficient
voltage to the
control circuits or
a short-circuited
power component.
No voltage,
improper voltage
applied to the unit,
a faulty power
switch (S1), or a
faulty input diode.
• Check to see that the system is plugged
into an appropriately-sized circuit and
that the circuit breaker has not been
tripped.
• Verify that the power is ON at the main
power panel or at the line-disconnect
switch box.
• Verify that the line voltage is not too
low (more than 15% below the rated
voltage).
• Perform Test 1 to check the incoming
voltage and the power switch.
• Perform Test 12 on CSA units.
Faulty power board
(PCB3), fan, or
solenoid valve.
• Perform Test 5 to check the flyback
circuit.
Faulty power board
(PCB3) or IGBT.
• Perform Tests 1, 2, and 3 and replace
any faulty components.
Faulty control
board (PCB1).
• Replace the control board (PCB1).
