Arbitrary time countdown function
You may set the arbitrary time countdown function when the automatic time
countdown function is active.
1 .
Set the automatic time countdown function.
2 .
Press the volume control/manual time countdown function dial (7) twice, the
time of the first alarm will be shown on the display. Press the dial again and hold
for approx. 5 seconds.
3 .
0:00 will start flashing on the display. Set the countdown time, format: HH:MM,
by rotating the dial (7) clockwise to increase the time. The maximum time is
3:00.
4 .
To change the setting, follow points 1 and 2, rotate the dial (7) counter-clockwise
to shorten the time, clockwise to increase it.
5 .
To stop the time countdown, press the dial (7) twice, the remaining time will be
shown on the display. Press again and hold, the time will start flashing, to reset,
press the “Down” button (8).
CAUTION!
The hourglass symbol
on the display indicates the active time countdown
function.
CAUTION!
To check the remaining countdown time, press the dial (7). Press once to
see the remaining time for the Automatic time countdown function. Press twice to
see it for the manual/arbitrary function.
7.5. Standby function
The device has a standby function.
Between 11:00 p.m. and 4:59 a.m. the display is not backlit if you do not press any
buttons. Over the remaining time, the display is gently backlit.
Full backlight is active after pressing any button.
7.6. Radio function
Turning the radio on/off

To turn the device on, press the radio, Bluetooth, FM on/off function button (9),
press again to enter the radio function – FM.
2 .
To turn the radio off, press and hold the radio, Bluetooth, FM on/off button (9).
