Safety Instructions
Clean the probe immediately after each measurement to avoid •
cross contamination
Do not use inside an oven

Operation
Temperature Measurement
1� Press [HOLD/ON-OFF] button once to switch thermometer
on�
2� Insert probe approximately 25mm (1”) deep into the
foodstuff
�
3�
Hold the thermometer stable for an accurate reading
Units of Measurement
1� Press and hold [MAX-MIN/°C-°F] button for about 3 seconds,
then release to alternate between Centigrade and Fahr
enheit�
Data Hold
1� Press [HOLD/ON-OFF] button once to retain reading, °C /°F
symbol flashing.
2� Press [HOLD/ON-OFF] button again to release HOLD function
Maximum/Minimum Readings
The thermometer can store and display the maximum and mini-
mum temperature readings taken since the last reset:
1. Pr ess [MAX -MIN/°C -°F] button. The MAX icon flashes and the
maximum temperature taken displays on the screen�
2.
Press [MAX-MIN/°C-°F] button again. The MIN icon flashes
and
the minimum temperature taken displays on the scr een�
3. Press the button again to resume normal oper
ation�
Note: To reset the memory turn off the thermometer.
Always reset the memory before taking new readings to
ensure accurate readings.
Low Battery Warning
1� Replace the battery when the low battery icon
appears
on the display �
