Start Up procedUre
Turn the throttle cable to the “IDLE” position.
1.
Pull the choke cable out if the engine is cold.
2.
Start the engine by pushing the ignition switch to “START”. Allow the Titan

run in idle for 2 – 3 minutes to warm up.
Connect the required length of hoses.
4.
Connect the wand or tool.
5.
If the Automatic Pump-Out option is included in your configuration, turn the Automatic
6.
Pump-Out (APO) switch to “ON”
Pull the throttle cable to the “HIGH” speed position.
7.
Commence water extraction.
8.
ShUt down procedUre
Remove the vacuum hose.
1.
Lubricate the blower to prevent it from rusting internally.
2.
Allow the unit to run at high speed for a few minutes with the vacuum hose
a.
disconnected in order to remove moisture from the blower.
Cap off the inlet(s) to the vacuum tank.
b.
Spray a HydraMaster-recommended spray lubricant into the “BLOWER LUBE
c.
PORT” for about 5 to 10 seconds while the unit is running.
Allow machine to run additional 2 to 5 minutes under load to flush off lubricant.
d.
Uncap the inlet(s) and run the unit for another minute to allow the blower to cool
e.
down.
Push the throttle cable to the “IDLE” position.

Turn the ignition switch to “OFF.”
4.
Drain the vacuum tank in an appropriate location.
5.
In accordance with EPA, state and local laws, do not dispose of water into gutters,
storm drains, streams, or reservoirs.
Clean the vacuum filter prior to mobilizing the van.
6.
Perform daily and periodic maintenance as specified in Section
7.
