Spark Plug Replacement
The spark plugs are located on each side of the engine.
Tools:
5/8 inch spark plug socket
0.030" feeler gauge
1. Unplug the wires from the spark plugs (
Figure 4-4
).
2. Remove the spark plugs with a 5/8” Socket.
3. Install the new plugs with a gap of 0.030”.

4. Re-install the spark plug wires.
Fuel Filter
The fuel filter is located underneath the van. It is
between the fuel filler neck and the fuel through floor
assembly (
Figure 4-5
).
Tools:
12 mm wrench
1. Loosen the hose clamps on either side of the
filter.
2. Pull the hoses off of the filter.
3. Install the new filter. The filter has an arrow on it.
The arrow should point towards the hose to the
machine. HRI Part # 049-049
4. Tighten the hose clamps.
