Automatic feeder
AUTOMATIC FEEDER is an automatic aquarium food feeder with electronic timer
control.

Attention:
The timer has to be reset every time the batteries are removed or replaced. Re-
move cover (E) and insert two batteries taking care to place them with the correct polarity.
START/SET button
program selection and start.
Green light: 1 feed every 24h.
Yellow light: 2 feeds every 24h.
Red light: 3 feeds every 24h.
To select and start the desired feeding program, press the START/SET button for approx. 1
second, release and press again for another second, repeat this operation until the light cor-
responding to the desired program flashes. Approx. 2 seconds after the selection the timer
will start and automatically will distribute the first feed. The coloured light will indicate the
selected program by flashing every 5 seconds.
Daily feed distribution
If one daily feed is selected, the food is distributed when the timer starts. The feed will be
repeated the next day at the same time and from then on every 24 hr.
If the program for 2 daily feeds is selected, the first food distribution will be at the start
of the timer, while the second distribution will be 8 hr later. The program will repeat the
distributions every 24hrs.
If the program for 3 daily feeds is selected, the first food distribution will be at the start of
the timer, the second distribution will be 6 hr later and the third will be after another 6hr.
The program will repeat the distributions every 24hrs.
It is important to set and start the timer in the morning in order to allow AUTOMATIC FEEDER
to distribute the feeds during daylight.
Example for 2 daily feeds: Select and Start program with first feed at 09.00 a.m. second feed
will be at 05.00 p.m. Every 24hrs the program will repeat automatically the feeds at 09.00
a.m. and at 05.00 p.m.
Example for 3 daily feeds: Select and Start program with first feed at 08.00 a.m. second
feed will be at 02.00 p.m. and third feed will be at 08.00 p.m. Every 24hrs the program will
repeat automatically the feeds.
Batteries
One week before the batteries are totally discharged the three coloured lights will start
flashing together. Remember to reprogram AUTOMATIC FEEDER after replacing the batteries.

Installation
AUTOMATIC FEEDER has been specially designed for use in aquariums it is recommended to
place the unit in a position with air circulation to prevent moisture entering the food com-
partment. Release the food compartment (C) by rolling and pulling outwards. Take off food
cover (A) and fill the compartment -fig. 2/3-: do not pack the food too tightly in the com-
partment. Close the food compartment and insert it into position until locking tab clicks into
place. Make sure the positioning marks coincide -fig. 4-. Place AUTOMATIC FEEDER on the
aquarium hood with the food outlet positioned over the feeding hole in the hood, finally fix
with the adhesive tape supplied. The hole should be at least 40x40 mm. If necessary, enlarge
the existing hole or cut one possibly on the side opposite the filter ensuring that the hole
