Measuring the cleanliness class

Power is supplied to the FCU when the OF5 is switched on at the main
switch. After a short time, the display of the FCU shows:

Measure -> OK/START
Cancel -> STOP

Press the

ok

start

key on the FCU. The measurement volume flow is shown

on the display.

Open the pressure compensated flow control valve on the front of the FCU
by turning it clockwise as far as it will go. This sets the filtration unit to flush
the measured section immediately once the unit is switched on. It may take a
few minutes until the air has been forced out of the system and the flow rate
has stabilized.
Once this process is complete, set the flow rate on the FCU's pressure
compensated flow control valve to 50 ... 150 ml.
